TENDER was a British electronic duo formed in London in 2015. The group, composed of producers James Cullen and Dan Cobb, first entered the scene with the single "Erode" in March 2017, which set the tone for their atmospheric synthâdriven sound. They followed with their debut EP Armour in September 2015, then the debut album Modern Addiction in September 2017, and Fear of Falling Asleep in February 2019, expanding their catalogue with atmospheric textures and introspective lyrics. Their 2024 releases FLUX and the single "Go Steady" showcased a more experimental direction, while the 2026 album Where the Waves Break marked the culmination of their evolving sonic palette. Throughout their career, TENDER remained independent, touring sporadically across the UK and maintaining a dedicated underground following.
