Tchubi, whose real name is Hamza Benali, is a Moroccan rapper, producer and performer born in Rabat. Passionate about music from an early age, he began producing with his friend DÃPE at the age of 14, influenced by Kanye West, Linkin Park and Hardwell. At 17, he discovered French rap, notably Nekfeu and the group 1995, which led him to take a greater interest in the genre. In 2019, at the age of 18, he began writing his first texts with his friends Vargas and Double 3. Together, they found the Å SQUA collective and released their first EP Space Radio in 2020. The same year, Tchubi releases his second project, VIBZ, in collaboration with Vargas. Always in search of musical evolution, he releases a mini-album, FtourmeaTchubi, made up of one-minute tracks he had shared on Instagram. In 2024, he unveiled Les Petites Friandises, a new work inspired by his Instagram concepts, combining varied and introspective music.
