Biography
Formed in March 1998 under the direction of Claudio Juárez, Tambó Tambó quickly established itself as a cornerstone of Argentina's cumbia santafesina scene. With lead vocalist Diego Mujica at the helm, the group debuted with their self-titled album Tambo Tambo in 1998, featuring the standout track "El Perdedor," a duet with Marcelo "Chino" González of La Nueva Luna. The following year, they released Linda Mañana, which included hits like "Aquellas Promesas," further cementing their popularity. Over the years, Tambó Tambó continued to produce memorable songs such as "El Campanero," "La Segunda Niña," and "Espinas en el Rosal," becoming staples in the tropical music circuit. Their dynamic live performances and catchy melodies garnered them a dedicated fan base across Argentina. In 2019, they celebrated their enduring appeal with the album Especial Pasión 30 Años. The band's evolution continued with the addition of AgustÃn Mujica, son of Diego Mujica, bringing a fresh energy and attracting a younger audience.
