Talis Kimberley (born in Wiltshire) is a British folk and filk singer-songwriter and political activist. She began her musical career on the filk circuit in 1990, performing across the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, and the United States. Her early discography includes the joint album Ancient Sky/The Toad (1993) and the EP Icarus' Sister (1994). Kimberley released her debut solo album, Archetype Café, in 2000 through Marchwood Media, followed by works such as Queen of Spindles (2012) and Eleanor Roosevelt's Knitting (2016). She performed at the Glastonbury Festival (1995), Treefest (2011, 2012), and the Little Green Gathering (2013). An active member of the Green Party, Kimberley stood as the parliamentary candidate for South Swindon in 2015 and 2017. Between 2001 and 2014, she received nine Pegasus Awards from 32 total nominations.
