Talia Hannah Schlanger, also known as Talia Schlanger, born in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, is a musician and radio host who began her career as an actress before transitioning into music. She graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University's program in radio and television arts. She initially gained recognition for her acting roles, appearing as Madison in Strange Days at Blake Holsey High and guest appearances on System Crash and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Her musical theatre credits include performances in Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, and the national U.S. tour of American Idiot. Her music career developed alongside her work in radio as a broadcaster, hosting shows like CBC Radio 2 Morning on CBC Radio 2 and CBC Music Backstage Pass. In February 2017, she was announced as the new host of NPR's World Cafe, a position she held until June 2019. Her debut album, Grace for the Going, was released in 2024.
