Bess Rogers, born on Long Island, New York, is an American indie rock musician. She attended the Conservatory of Music at the State University of New York at Purchase. Her initial releases included Decisions Based on Information (2007) and Travel Back EP (2009). In 2011, she released her album Out Of The Ocean, produced by Chris Kuffner. Notable singles from this period include "We Believe in You" and "Anchor." Rogers has collaborated with various artists, including Ingrid Michaelson's backup band and forming The Secret Someones in 2013. She also contributed to orchestral/electronic groups like The Age of Rockets and The Robot Explosion.
