Katherine Quaye, known professionally as Taffy, is an Italian-based English Hi-NRG and Italo disco singer born in Deptford, London, in 1963. Her career began with the release of "White & Black" and "Walk into the Daylight", which gained traction in Italy. In 1985, she achieved significant success with her single "I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio)", produced by Claudio Cecchetto. The song was a hit in France and Italy, reaching number 5 on the Italian charts. Due to limited late-night radio programming in the UK, the track was re-released as "I Love My Radio (Dee Jayâs Radio)" in 1987, peaking at number 6 on the UK Singles Chart. Other notable singles from her career include "Step By Step" (1987), which reached number 42 on the Italian charts, and "If You Feel It" (1988).
