Tabletom, a Spanish rock band formed in 1976 in Málaga, Andalusia, emerged from an anarcho-hippie commune. The original lineup included Roberto González (vocals), Jesús Ortiz (bass and violin), Javier Denis (oboe and saxophones), Pedro "Perico" RamÃrez (guitar), José Manuel "Pepillo" RamÃrez (flute), and Paco Oliver (drums). Their debut album, Mezclalina, was released in 1980. Despite initial struggles with their label RCA, Tabletom gained a dedicated following through live performances. The band disbanded briefly in the mid-1980s but reunited in 1990 as a trio. Notable releases include Inoxidable (1992), featuring "Me estoy quitando", and Sigamos en las nubes (2008). After Roberto González's death in 2011, the band continued with new members, releasing Luna de mayo in 2016.
