Biography

Superfruit, an American musical and comedy duo consisting of Mitch Grassi and Scott Hoying, was formed in August 2013. Both members were already known for their work with the a cappella group Pentatonix. Superfruit's YouTube channel, launched on August 13, 2013, initially focused on comedic vlogs and music performances. The duo released their first original songs, "Bad 4 Us" on October 18, 2016, and "Sweet Life" on November 15, 2016. Their debut EP Future Friends: Part One was released on June 30, 2017, followed by Future Friends: Part Two and the compilation album Future Friends on September 15, 2017. Superfruit's sound features electric and electronic instruments while retaining a pop-oriented style. The duo embarked on the Future Friends Tour in 2018. Notable collaborations include appearances with Adam Rippon in their music video for "The Promise."
