Suidakra, a German melodic death metal band from Monheim, was formed in 1994 by guitarist Arkadius Antonik and drummer Stefan Möller. Initially known as Gloryfication, the band released their debut album Lupine Essence in 1997, which caught the attention of Last Episode Records. In 2001, Suidakra signed with Century Media Records and released Emprise to Avalon (2002). Throughout the 2000s, they continued to release albums such as Signs for the Fallen (2003), incorporating traditional Celtic instruments like bagpipes and banjos, and Caledonia (2006). Notable tours include performances across Europe, Russia, North America, India, and China. Subsequent albums include Eternal Defiance (2013), Realms of Odoric (2016), and Cimbric Yarns (2018).
