Biography

Sugarbomb was a power pop band from Fort Worth, Texas, formed in 1998. The lineup featured Les Farrington (keyboards/vocals), Daniel Harville (guitar/vocals), Michael Harville (drums/vocals), Greg Bagby (guitar/vocals), and Kelly Riley (bass). They first gained attention with the independent release of Tastes Like Sugar in 1999. In 2001, the band signed to RCA Records and released Bully. The single "Hello" reached No. 34 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 and appeared in the 2002 films Orange County and Van Wilder. Despite critical praise, including recognition from Billboard for their distinct rock sound, RCA dropped Sugarbomb just two weeks after the release of Bully. The band remained active until 2009.
