Paulo Ricardo da Costa Jesus Lourenço, professionally known as, PL Quest is a Brazilian rapper who first surfaced as part of the collective Questione, a background that shaped his stage name and early network of collaborators; across 2020 he appeared on Mainstreet-affiliated cuts like Orochi’s “Tanto Faz” and “Antes do Sol Nascer,” and joined the posse single “Assault (Quarentena)” alongside Azevedo, Orochi, Shenlong and Kizzy, placing him within Rio’s trap circuit from the start. In 2021, he widened his reach with Sueth’s “Royal Salute” and the breakout street hit “A Cara do Crime (Nós Incomoda)” credited to Mc Poze do Rodo, Bielzin, Mainstreet, MC Cabelinho, PL Quest and Neo Beats. The next phase brought a run with Mainstreet and producers like jess beats, VT no beat and RUXN on tracks such as “Melhoria,” “Intro” and the cypher-style “Fatality” (2023). By 2024 he was issuing solo work (“Aflição”) and fronting video singles like “Cruz de Ouro.” In 2025 PL Quest consolidated his catalog with the collaborative album Pensando Bem Eu Vou Viver (with Azevedo & Ruxn), collecting cuts such as “Agiu Pela Emoção,” “Desabafo Do Chefe,” “Casa Do Kizzy” and “Play Na Festa,” while rolling out a steady stream of singles and EPs—“PL Quest & Azevedo On The Radar Freestyle (feat. Jess Beats),” “150 MIL,” “PRE SSÃO (feat. DeLuca),” the ELA É RIO EP, “Noite De Crime,” and, on August 21, “Balenciaga (feat. neconbeat)”—underscoring his blend of gritty street rap and club-ready hooks.
