An unclassifiable and surprising musician, Yann Tambour aka Stranded Horse is the kind of guy who covers an English rock classic on the kora, his instrument of choice. The Normandy-born musician's folk-world sound can be heard on the albums Churning Strides (2007) and Thee (2008), the latter a collaboration with BallakÃ© Sissoko.
