Manchester-born Steve Steinman is a renowned musical theatre rock producer, performer, and creative visionary, known for his bold and captivating approach to blending rock music with theatrical storytelling. With an extensive career spanning multiple decades, he first appeared as Meat Loaf on the UK show Stars In Their Eyes and has since earned a reputation for creating larger-than-life productions that combine electric performances with high-energy musical scores. Setting up his own Steve Steinman Productions company, his most celebrated work includes his production debut The Meat Loaf Story (2000), a theatrical rock spectacular that brings the iconic music of the legendary artist to life through a combination of live performances, immersive storytelling, and stunning visuals. As a producer and performer, he has also been behind a series of highly successful stage productions that capture the essence of rock, glam, and theatrical spectacle, earning accolades for his innovative interpretations of classic rock anthems. In 2004, he created the long-running Vampires Rock show in which he took the lead role as Baron Von Rockula and in 2009 Bat the Symphony, which saw him employ a 40-piece orchestra and his own band to perform all of Meat Loafâs biggest hits. He also produced Anything For Love â The Meat Loaf Story, in which he stars alongside Lorraine Crosby.
