Biography

Sons of Seasons, a German symphonic metal band formed in January 2007, originated from the collaboration of Kamelot keyboardist Oliver Palotai and former BLAZE members Daniel Schild and Luca Princiotta. The lineup initially featured Palotai on keyboards, Schild on drums, and Princiotta on guitar. Jürgen Steinmetz joined on bass in the summer of 2007, and later, vocalist Henning Basse joined, while Pepe Pierez replaced Princiotta on guitar. Their debut album, Gods of Vermin, was released in 2009 through Napalm Records, followed by their second album, Magnisphyricon, on April 1, 2011, which included a guest appearance by Simone Simons of Epica. The band toured extensively with Kamelot and Rage during 2010 and 2011, solidifying their presence in the metal scene. Lead vocalist Henning Basse left the band in 2013.
