Biography
Sons of Bill, an Americana group from Charlottesville, Virginia, was formed in 2005 by brothers Sam, Abe, and James Wilson. The band initially included bassist Seth Green and drummer Todd Wellons. Their first album, A Far Cry From Freedom, was released independently in April 2006 after winning a Battle of Bands contest that February. In June 2009, Sons of Bill released their second album, One Town Away, on Gray Fox Records. The band's third album, Sirens, was produced by David Lowery and released in March 2012. Their fourth studio album, Love & Logic, was recorded with Ken Coomer and released in September 2014. In April 2018, Sons of Bill released their fifth studio album, Oh God Ma'Am.
