Biography

Lewis Del Mar, an American experimental pop duo from Rockaway Beach, Queens, New York City, was formed in 2015 by singer and guitarist Danny Miller and drummer and producer Max Harwood. The group gained initial attention when their debut single "Loud(y)" topped the Hype Machine chart in early 2015. Their first release, an EP, came out on January 15, 2016, through Columbia Records, peaking at Number 7 on Billboard Emerging Artists. The duo's self-titled debut album was released on October 7, 2016, also via Columbia Records. This album garnered support from notable outlets such as NPR and The New York Times, leading to late-night television performances. In May 2020, Lewis Del Mar announced their second album, AUGUST, which was released on August 21, 2020, through Fader Label.
