Rising to fame after a standout performance on U.K. platform Bl@ckbox, Reading-based rapper Songer gained prominence in the late 2010s with his lyrically dense rap style, solidifying his position in the music scene through a consistent stream of album releases. His debut came in 2019 with Dream Workz, followed by subsequent albums: Lyrics for Sanity in 2020, The Sunrise Project in 2021, and SKALA in 2023 which swiftly claimed the top spot on the Official UK Charts for Hip-hop / R&B releases. Collaborating with acts such as Bad Boy Chiller Crew and Vibe Chemistry, the rapper has since been responsible for three of the most-watched Bl@ckbox freestyles, accumulating over 50 million streams on music streaming platforms.
