Biography

South Korean singer-songwriter Song I-han, born Song Byeong-hwa on August 11, 1994, in Bucheon, South Korea, initially aspired to become an architect before discovering his vocal talents. His musical journey began when he started studying music and singing during high school. In January 2018, Song participated in the blind audition program Blind Musician, where he advanced from a pool of 13,000 applicants to the final four. He performed a cover of MC the Max's "Wind That Blows" and was revealed as the winner on June 3, 2018, releasing his debut single "Reason" on the same day. Song released his follow-up single "Means Goodbye" in March 2019. In December 2019, he signed an exclusive contract with Music Design. His first mini-album Fade Away was released on March 25, 2020. On December 29, 2020, he released a special R&B single entitled "I Will Be Your Shining Star", which became known as a "wedding song icon" and peaked at number 9 on South Korea's weekly national Circle Digital Chart. In 2021, Song released his second mini-album My Empty Space with the lead single "Memory of You", returning in 2023 with “My World to You,” “After,” and “Who Am I To,” and “My Heart Is Full of You” in 2024.
