Biography

Smyslovye Gallyutsinatsii, a Russian rock band formed in Sverdlovsk in 1989, gained initial recognition as part of the Sverdlovsk rock club. The group faced numerous challenges and splits during their first decade but achieved a breakthrough in 2000 when two of their songs, "Rozovye Ochki" and "Vechno Molodoy," were featured on the soundtrack of the movie Brother 2. This year also marked the release of their debut album, 3000. In 2001, Smyslovye Gallyutsinatsii released their second album, Lyod 9, which included two songs that won the prestigious Golden Gramophone award: "Zachem Toptat' Moyu Liubov" and "Razum Kogda-Nibud' Pobedit."
