Biography

SKYND, an industrial rock band from Australia, was formed in 2017 and consisted of vocalist SKYND and multi-instrumentalist Father. The band was known for their lyrics often focusing on true crime themes. Their debut single "Elisa Lam" was released in 2018, followed by "Gary Heidnik" (2018), featuring Jonathan Davis of Korn. These singles were included in their first EP Chapter I, which was released in August 2018. The band's second EP, Chapter II, was released in July 2019. Subsequent notable singles include "Columbine" (2020), "Michelle Carter" (2021), and "Chris Watts" (2022). They were nominated for the Heavy Music Awards 2020 in the Best International Breakthrough Artist category and have performed at major festivals such as Wacken Open Air and Download Festival. In early 2023, SKYND supported Ice Nine Kills on their European tour.
