Skye Newman, born on November 9, 2003, in London, United Kingdom, is a singer-songwriter known for her contributions to soul music. Growing up in South East London, Newman's early musical influences included her aunt, a jazz and blues singer, as well as notable artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, Bob Marley, and Eminem. Newman's breakthrough came with the release of her debut single "Hairdresser" on March 28, 2025, which entered the UK Singles Chart. Her second single, "Family Matters", became her first UK top 10 hit, reaching Number Five in June 2025.
