Biography
Juan Antonio Ortiz GarcÃa, born on September 10, 1979, in Puerto Rico, is a reggaeton singer known professionally as Speedy or Sir Speedy. He entered the music scene in 1998 with the release of his debut album Sientelo, featuring the hit single "Sientelo" in collaboration with Lumidee, which reached number 13 in Germany and entered the Top 10 in Switzerland and Belgium. In 2001 he released the album Haciendo El Amor Con La Ropa, followed by Dando Cocotazos in 2003, and Nueva Generación in 2005, the latter distributed worldwide by Universal. Sir Speedy collaborated with artists such as Plan B, Daddy Yankee, and Lito & Polaco, and in 2005 recorded "Hora De Baile" featuring Genio Killa. In 2008 he issued the mixtape Mazacote: The Mixtape Gold Edition Vol.1 through Yoko-Joe Records and released the studio album From PR 2 TR. Subsequent releases include Ayer y hoy in 2012 and Real Reggaeton in 2018.
