Natural, an American pop-rock band formed in 1999 in Orlando, Florida, consisted of members Ben Bledsoe, Josh Horn, Michael Johnson, Patrick Jr. King, and Marc Terenzi. The group were discovered by Lou Pearlman, and moved to Germany with the late music executive's support. Their first single, "Put Your Arms Around Me", failed to chart in the US, but upon their relocation to Germany, it debuted at number 25 on the German charts. The band released their debut album Keep It Natural in September 2002, which included 13 tracks and three cover songs. Their second album, Itâs Only Natural, released in September 2003, featured a more pop-rock sound and more compositions by the band members. In March 2004, their collaboration with Sarah Connor on "Just One Last Dance" reached the top of the German singles chart. Despite this success, internal conflicts and management issues led to the band's disbandment in June 2003. "Why It Hurts" was their last single. The group officially disbanded after a farewell tour through Germany, during which Michael Johnson did not participate due to prior commitments.
