Biography

Signum, a Dutch electronic music group formed in 1995, consisted of producers Pascal Minnaard and Ronald Hagen. The duo initially lived in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, and began their career by creating and remixing trance music. Their breakthrough came in 1997 with the release of "What Ya Got 4 Me", a track based on Tony de Vit's "The Dawn," which became a club anthem and was re-released in 2001, entering Number 40 of the UK Singles Chart. Signum started on the BPM dance label before signing with Armada Music in 2003. Their notable collaborations include working with Scott Mac on "Coming On Strong" and remixing tracks for ATB and Alice DeeJay. The group's DJ debut was at Gatecrasher in the UK in July 2001, leading to performances at various dance venues and festivals worldwide. In 2004, Signum collaborated with Anita Kelsey on "Come Around Again" and embarked on a tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2005. The group also produced music under the alias D-Factor. Pascal Minnaard moved to Norway in 2008, leaving Ronald Hagen to continue as a solo project. Signum's final album, For You, was released in December 2010 by Armada Music.
