Biography
Shinobu Sato, a Japanese classical guitarist, was born on June 5, 1955, in Kobe. He began playing the acoustic guitar at age 13 and emigrated to the United States in 1979 after meeting his future wife Katherine Larson. Shinobu's debut album Red Dragonfly: World Music on Guitar was released in 1988 as a tape and later reissued on audio CD in 1992. His second major release, Little Signs of Autumn, followed in 1994. In addition to his recording career, Shinobu teaches guitar to students of all ages throughout the northside of Chicago, Illinois.
