SHEâll SLEEP is a Japanese three-piece rock band formed in 2018 in Matsumoto, Nagano, by Yusaku (vocals/guitar), Tatsumi (bass/chorus), and Sota (drums/chorus). The project began after Yusaku left his previous band, AND LORELEI, determined to front a group built around his own songwriting. Having already shared stages in Naganoâs live house scene, he first recruited Tatsumi, while Sota joined through a local connection. The band quickly established a melodic punk foundation rooted in Japanese-language lyricism, releasing early demo works before signing to the indie label THE NINTH APOLLO in 2020. Their first nationwide album, AWAKE (2020), marked a turning point, followed by WHITE (2021), NINE (2022), and mori (2024), each accompanied by extensive tours and appearances at major events such as Kyoto Daisakusen. Known for emotional intensity and driving guitar lines, SHEâll SLEEP has balanced regional roots with growing national visibility while remaining based in Matsumoto. The release Riverside (2026) further highlights their blend of urgency and reflective lyricism, pairing soaring melodies with tight rhythmic momentum.
