Biography

Sharon Elizabeth Knight (born January 8, 1966) is an American neopagan composer, singer, and producer from Redwood City, California. Based in San Francisco, Knight performs Celtic fusion music, which she identifies as Neofolk Romantique. Knight released her debut album, Incantation, in 1996. She became as the front-person for the pagan rock and folk metal group Pandemonaeon, releasing the albums Pandemonaeon (2001) and Dangerous Beauty (2010). Her solo work includes Song of the Sea (2004), featuring duets with Shay Black and the tracks “May Morning Dew” and “Song of the Sea”. Knight collaborated with the electronica project Hands Upon Black Earth on the albums Hands Upon Black Earth (2004) and Translucent (2009). Later releases include Neofolk Romantique (2013) and Portals (2016). Knight co-owns Trance Jam Records and began touring nationally with her musical collaborator Winter in 2010.
