Biography

Haiku Salut, an English folktronica/post-rock band, was formed in 2010 in Derbyshire Dales by multi-instrumentalists Gemma Barkerwood, Sophie Barkerwood and Louise Croft. Their debut EP How We Got Along After the Yarn Bomb was released in July 2011. Haiku Salut's first full-length album, Tricolore, was released in March 2013 and received favorable reviews from multiple publications including The Guardian and Mojo. In August of the same year, they won the Green Man Rising contest and performed at the Green Man Festival. Their second album, Etch and Etch Deep, was released in July 2015 to critical acclaim.
