Shane Alexander, born in San Diego, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and producer. Alexander was five years old when he first heard the Black Sabbath song âIron Manâ. He received his first guitar at age ten and joined his first band at twelve. Alexander moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s, performing with the ensemble Trippin and later the rock band Young Art. In 1997, he formed the band Damone, which released a self-titled album in 2000. Alexander began a solo career with a self-titled EP in 2003, followed by the debut album The Middle Way (2005). His discography includes the albums Stargazer (2006), The Sky Below (2008), Mono Solo (2010), Ladera (2013), Bliss (2016), and A Life Like Ours (2019). His songs appeared on television programs including Brothers & Sisters, Bones, and Criminal Minds.
