An American singer from Decatur, Georgia, Shamea Yvonne Morton began singing in church at an early age and joined several groups, including Keri Hilson and Shamari Fears-DeVoe of the group Blaque, under the direction of producer Anthony Dent. In 2025, under her stage name Shamea, she released her first single, "Neva Head", charting at No. 30 on the Top 30 Radio Adult R&B chart. In addition, Shamea Morton is an actress, dancer and radio host who has appeared in the films Drumline and Ride Along 2, as well as on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
