Biography
Shail Hada (April 11, 1975) is an Indian playback singer from the northern state of Rajasthan. With a background in Hindustani Classical Music, he began his career as a background vocalist on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2005 drama Black. Since then, Shail Hada has appeared on the soundtrack of every film Bhansali has directed, including Saawariya (2007), in which he worked as an assistant to composer Monty Sharma, and Guzaarish (2010), where he assumed the role of chief assistant music director. "Tera Zikhr Hain," one of the songs from Guzaarish's soundtrack, earned him a Stardust Award in the category of New Sensation Male in 2011. In subsequent years, Shail Hada collaborated with the Tamil and Telugu film industries, working closely with composer Harris Jayaraj. In 2022, he teamed up once again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the film Gangubai Kathiawadi, lending his voice to the track "Dholida," which reached Number 52 on the Indian Top 100.
