Shabnam Kamoli, known professionally as Shab, was born in Tehran, Iran, and later relocated to the United States; she began her musical journey in 2017 with Persian-language releases before shifting to English in 2018. Her first English single, "Down To The Wire", coâwritten with Damon Sharpe, marked her breakthrough, leading to the 2021 album Infinite Love, which included the chartâtopping "Spell On Me" that reached No.â¯1 on the Global Digital Music Chart. In 2022, Shab released several remixed versions of "Sexual (Li Da Di)" and collaborated with Fatâ¯Joe on "Voodoo" that entered the Topâ¯40 on rhythmic and pop charts. 2025 saw the launch of her second album, One Suitcase, and several remixed versions of "Skin & Bones." Her career has been highlighted by international chart success and a growing presence in the EDM and electronic music scenes.
