Serge Adam, born in 1957 in Rouen, is a French jazz trumpeter and composer. He studied at the conservatories of Caen and Versailles, and at the Institute for Artistic and Cultural Perception under Alan Silva and Itaru Oki. In 1993, Serge Adam formed the group Polysons, which released two albums and performed internationally. The following year, he co-founded the trio Les Amants de Juliette, releasing four albums to date. In 2001, he released the album Bucarest. Since 2000, Adam has been part of the Trio Hradcãny with David Venitucci and Philippe Botta, blending popular Turkish and Eastern European music with jazz. Notable releases with the trio include a debut album (2002) and Balkanic Jazz (2006). He also collaborated on albums such as Too Fast for Techno (2005) with Régis Huby and Up to 1970 (2014) featuring Noël Akchoté and Benoît Delbecq.
