Seiya Ishikawa, known as Seiya, born September 13, 1992, in Higashiosaka, Osaka, is a Japanese comedian, impressionist, actor, and singer. He is best known as one half of the comedy duo Shimofuri Myojo, alongside Soshina, under Yoshimoto Kogyo’s Tokyo office. Primarily the “boke” (funny man) of the duo—though he occasionally switches roles in talk segments—Seiya has built a broad entertainment career that extends beyond stand-up and television variety. In 2021, during the TV Asahi program Shimofuri Variety, he spearheaded the idol audition project “Find the Reiwa Agnes Chan.” For the winner, Himari Ichinose, Seiya wrote and produced the original song "Ai de Oboretai"(2021), collaborating with Issei Kobayashi and Shingo Anami of Ryokuoushoku Shakai on composition. The track was first performed on the show and later released digitally with an accompanying music video. In 2025, he officially launched his music career under his real name, Seiya Ishikawa, signing with Warner Music Japan. His debut single "Okan no LINE" was released on October 24, 2025, and performed on Music Station the same day. Continuing his artistic expansion, he later released "Paparanpanpush"(2026).
