Born Sierra Lewis on 12 December 2000 in the Bronx, New York City, the US rapper known as Scar Lip began her trajectory in 2019 with the "Therapy" and "Foster Care" singles while continuing to build her reputation with further singles like "Suicide Awareness" and "Loose Control." She turbo-charged her career with the 2022 single "Glizzy Gobbler" which went viral on TikTok and was matched by the success of her breakout single "This is New York," which paved the way for a record deal with Epic Records the following year. Her "No Statements" single came in 2023 along with the "Take 'Em Out" single with Swizz Beats, Jadakiss and Benny the Butcher for 2023 album Hip Hop 50: Vol. 2.
