Biography

Savage Resurrection was an American psychedelic rock band from the San Francisco Bay area, active between 1967 and 1968. The group included lead guitarist Randy Hammon. They were signed to Mercury Records and released their self-titled debut album The Savage Resurrection in 1968, produced by Abe "Voco" Kesh. After the release of their single "Thing in E" b/w "Fox Is Sick", singer Bill Harper and bassist Steve Lage left the group, leading to its disbandment by late 1968. A version of Savage Resurrection began performing again in 2007, featuring original members Bill Harper and Randy Hammon.
