Biography

Sakura Maezensen is a visual-kei enka singing group composed of former visual-kei band members, who started event activities in 2017 as "Saibi Sakura Maezensen"; they changed their name to "Sakura Maezensen" and started full-scale activities on November 10, 2024, at the Asakusa Opera House. The members are Hanami Sakura Koki (visual-kei rock band Doubt ), Tsukasa Mogamigawa ( THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S ), and Seiji ( Moi dix Mois ). The genre is a unique style that incorporates elements of rock into enka songs, and they released singles such as " Snow Cherry Blossoms" in 2024 and " Yuki Monogatari " in 2025, with "Snow Cherry Blossoms" gaining attention by ranking first in the Oricon enka/uta song rankings. They have a proven track record of having packed one-man live concerts and reaching No. 1 on the enka chart, and they continue to work toward an appearance in the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen.
