Biography

Sannex is a Swedish dansband formed as a school project in 1977. In the mid-1980s, they became a professional six-man ensemble. A significant breakthrough came in 1987 when they served as the backing band for Ann-Louise Hanson, leading to their full-time commitment as a dance band. They released their debut album, Om du säger som det är, in 1990. They participated in Dansbandskampen in 2009 and achieved chart success with albums like Tillbaka till framtiden (2012), which peaked at number 5 in Sweden, and Jag vill leva (2014), which reached number 4. They won multiple awards, including four Guldklavar and a Grammis, and appeared on TV programs such as Allsång på Skansen in 2017 and 2018. In 2021, they competed in Melodifestivalen with the song "All Inclusive" but did not qualify for the finals. Their other notable albums include Din sida sängen (2016).
