Biography

Danne Stråhed, born Dan Peter Stråhed on June 12, 1956 in Kirseberg, Malmö, is a Swedish musician and songwriter. He began his musical journey in the mid-1970s as part of various bands. At 16, he joined his brother's band the Chinox, contributing to their album Tunna skivor (1976) on the Gazell label. Stråhed played piano, organ, and sang with the group, which opened for AC/DC. In 1981, he formed Änglabarn, who released one album and served as the pre-show act for Queen during their Scandinavian tour. He later joined Wizex as lead singer in 1983. His solo career included albums such as Drängavisan (2006), La' De' Leva (2010), and 13 rätt... 13 nya låtar (2013). Notable singles include "En liten stund" (2017) and "Det rullar på nu" (2019). Stråhed participated in Melodifestivalen 2022 with "Hallabaloo".
