Biography
Rune Rudberg, born on August 23, 1961 in Trøgstad, Ãstfold, Norway, is a Norwegian country singer. He gained national recognition with his 1988 hit song "Ut mot havet" and later performed with the dance band Scandinavia. In 2011, he formed the Rune Rudberg Band through a collaboration with Ground Zero, featuring Rudberg on vocals and guitar alongside Tor Brasetvik, Egil BrattÃ¥s, Bjørn Teig, Geir Hilsen, and Tore Blestrud. The group released the album Tro in 2013, which reached the VG-lista and remained on the chart for twelve weeks, and received a Spellemannprisen nomination. Rudberg has also competed multiple times in Norway's Melodi Grand Prix, including with the song "Run Run Away," and has released numerous albums like Levd liv (2015) and Kindly Keep it Country (2016) throughout his career.
