Rosalie Mae Craig, born on May 30, 1980 in Nottinghamshire, Nottingham, is a British actress and singer. She graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2001 and made her professional stage debut with the Royal Shakespeare Company in Alice in Wonderland. In 2007, Craig secured her first leading role in a West End production as Arwen in the musical stage adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. Notable theatre roles include the title character in Tori Amos' The Light Princess at the National Theatre in 2013, for which she won an Evening Standard Award and was nominated for an Olivier Award. Her television work includes appearances in Spooks, Miranda, Endeavour, Lovesick, Midsomer Murders, Truth Seekers, and The Queen's Gambit. In 2018, Craig starred alongside Patti LuPone in a London revival of Stephen Sondheimâs musical Company, playing the lead role of Bobbie. Following her appearances in Treason: The Musical (2020) and the original series Centaurworld (2021), she was part of the cast for the Ben Foster TV series Riot Women (2025).
