Biography

Rob'n'Raz are a Swedish music duo consisting of Robert Wåtz and Rasmus Lindwall. The pair began their career in the late 1980s as DJs before transitioning into performing and composing together. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of "Got to Get" in 1989, which reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart. This success was followed by another chart appearance with "Rok the Nation" in 1990, peaking at number 41. These singles were included in their debut album Rob'n'Raz featuring Leila K, released the same year. The duo worked extensively with vocalists and rappers such as Leila K and Papa Dee during this period. They also produced numerous unofficial remixes for Remixed Records, including a notable version of ABBA's "Dancing Queen". In 1993, Rob'n'Raz presented the dance/hip-hop section Clubhopping on ZTV and released an album under the name Rob'n'Raz DLC with rapper David "D-Flex" Seisay and vocalist Lutricia McNeal. The duo also composed the music for the video game Safecracker in 1997. In the early 2000s, they served as judges on the TV4 musical show Småstjärnorna.
