Biography
Robin Carolan is a composer and producer with British and Irish roots. Founder in 2010 of the Tri Angle electronic label, he produces Evian Christ and Serpentwithfeet, among other promoted artists such as The Haxan Cloak, Vessel, Forest Swords, Holy Other and Clams Casino. In 2011, Tri Angle was named one of the "fifty U.S. labels that matter" by Billboard magazine, and has collaborated with renowned artists such as Björk. In 2020, Robin Carolan announced the end of his label's activities to devote himself to a career as a composer. His first commission, with Sebastian Gainsborough, came from director Robert Eggers for his feature film The Northman (2022). Two years later, Eggers entrusted Carolan with the music for his adaptation of Nosferatu, based on Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau's 1922 silent film.
