Biography

One of Robert Johnson's closest companions (the latter lived with his mother), Robert Jr Lockwood extended his mentor's style, but as a subtle, modern and jazzy guitarist, he played an important role in defining the Chicago blues of the '50s, recording countless albums behind Little Walter or Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller).
