Ross Filler, known professionally as Remedy, was born on November 4, 1972, in Staten Island, New York. He is an American rapper and hip-hop producer who took the name Remedy in 1987. Remedy's breakthrough came with his affiliation with the Wu-Tang Clan, becoming the first non-black and Jewish rapper associated with the group. He released his debut album The Genuine Article in April 2001, which reached number 130 on the Billboard 200. Remedy has also served as executive producer on albums by Cappadonna and Inspectah Deck. Remedy Meets Wu-Tang was released in November 2021, featuring appearances by the Wu-Tang Clan.
