REKIREM (Korean: 레키렘; Japanese: レキレム) is a South Korean independent four-member live girl group that debuted on March 8, 2025, with a live stage performance at the event REKIREM: 다시 시작하는 기적의 렘. The group's name is a stylized form of the word "requiem," symbolizing a musical tribute to the past and a new beginning. Formed in January 2025, the members—PICHU, MIKA, MYAI, and AEJEONG—first gained attention as contestants on the idol survival show Girls Frontier, where they performed together as part of team 'Daydream'. Their shared experience on the show laid the foundation for their chemistry as a group. REKIREM officially introduced each member throughout January and February 2025, generating anticipation for their live debut. The group focuses on live performance and authenticity, distinguishing themselves from traditional studio-produced idol acts. On March 24, 2025, just weeks after their debut stage, they released their first digital single "현실접속現実接続," marking their formal entry into the music scene.
