Biography

If the name of Raoul de Godewarsvelde (1928-1977) has not yet been forgotten, it is undoubtedly thanks to the success of "Quand la mer monte", the anachronistic hit of 1968. A singer with the stature of a giant, the man from Lille was above all a fisherman. In addition to his musical lineage, he left behind a wealth of songs, compiled in a triple Best of in 2010.
