Guaraná, a Spanish pop rock group formed in Alicante in 2000, initially consisted of Juanra Arnaiz and David Navarro. The duo started their musical journey by performing in local venues and distributing demo tapes. In the same year they were signed to Sony Music and released their debut album El Efecto Guaraná, which included the hit single "La Casa de Inés". This success led to their second album, Vampiros en La Habana (2001). The band underwent several lineup changes, eventually becoming a duo with Arnaiz on vocals and Navarro on guitar. They released additional albums including Guaraná (2004), La Furgoneta del Amor (2006), and De Lao a Lao (2008). In 2010, they celebrated their decade-long career with the compilation album Grabaciones 2000-2010, featuring collaborations with artists such as David Summers.
