Qumali Depart, a Japanese idol unit, was formed in 2016 with an initial lineup consisting of Risako Pai, Niko Sao, and Nako Yuu. The group made their debut with the single "Qumali Depart 1" on April 26, 2017, marking the beginning of their journey in the J-pop scene. Their first EP, Qumari Depart 2, was released in April 2018. On May 3, Risako Pai graduated from the group, and three new members—Ayane Oda, Fuuka Kaede, and Mitsuba Hina—joined. However, Mitsuba Hina left the group on June 8. Qumali Depart released their debut album, ココデパ!, in May 2019, which included notable tracks such as "Are? Romantic" and "Shada Ikun". Their second album, セカデパ!, was released in February 2021. The group continued to release notable singles such as "Amida Fortune / Korekara" and "Shiawase Hasshin! From Kitchen". In March 2023, they released the double A-side single "夏へのとびら / ぶどう♡Grape♡For♡You". In June 2023, they released the single "魔法少女Q", followed by "ブルーサバイバー" ("Blue Survivor") on July 9. On April 6, 2024, Mei Yamano graduated from the group, and two new members, Kanna Minami and Rikou Momosa, joined shortly after.
